Best practice project

Information on reference projects availableyes
Best practice project - ongrid1. Maui Brewing Company, see attached Press Release and 2. E.ON LES Microgrid Located in Simris, Sweden. Islanded microgrid for a small community in Southern Sweden. This is the first energy island in Scandanevia. Microgrid consists of solar, wind, battery and diesel generation. Project was commissioined in August 2018. The project is supported by the EU innovation project Horizon2020 and their InterFlex programme. The project has cost approximately 35 million SEK, whereof E.ON has funded 50 percent. Projects is among 2019 Award finalists for the EU Sustainable Energy Awards' competition. Live project operation can be seen here: https://les.eon.se/
Best practice project - offgridSingita Lodge, South Africe. Offgrid Microgrid consists of solar, battery and diesel generation. Objective of the project is to ensure power availability to he load while maximizing the PV as source of energy, thus minimizing diesel usage. The contorl system orchestrates the PV, BESS and diesel generators to best obtain project goals. System commissioing was in March 2017
