Best practice project - offgrid | Galapagos Island- Isabela
Our hybrid control solution successfully runs Isabela Island Hybrid Power Plant since 2018. The solution supplies almost 900 households with electricity, on Isabela, the largest Galápagos Island. It helps to eliminate the use of fossil fuels by integrating renewable resources to address the energy challenges of the island.
The controller manages the hybrid power plant by integrating a 952 kWp photovoltaic system, a battery storage system with an output of up to 660 kW and a generator power plant with a total output of 1625 kW. |
